In my opinion is a visual thing. For many years long hair has been associated with female gender and male with short hair. Granted there are some women that look really nice with short hair but not all males can get past that initial statement. I miself prefer long hair but there are some very sexy females with short hair.

because most woman is cuter with long hair, i saw some of the really cute girl with short hair. Depends on each person tho

Long hair is sexy and you can do a lot with it...styles I mean. I think it's very feminine and men like to run their fingers through it.

long hair is beautiful, i just got mine hacked off by a crazy scissor happy stylist, i am crying, my bf is too. hate it when they say, 'it's only hair,it'll grow back'
