Alpha hydroxy acid is made of lactic acid from milk & tartic acid
from fruit. They are meant to exfoliate. Remove dead skin
from the face, which will leave the skin extremely clean with a
nice glow.

It cleans away dead cells and unwanted rough skin on the surface of the skin. It's acidic and some people might be sensitive to it. If you dont feel any heat on your face when you're using it, then you're fine. If you do, just stop the product, it might be too strong for you.

Mario Badescu's Enzyme Gel Cleanser. Its a cleanser (hence the name) and it contains the AHA's that you seek. Its an awesome cleanser that does not foam and smells great. It also removes make up and wont dry your skin.

AHA is an exfoliate, Short name for a ingredient called Glycolic acid.. its for anti ageing as well.
Just keep in mind for future references that there is also a BHA, and that is short for Benzoyl peroxide (a anti acne fighting ingredient).. good luck.

It helps exfoliate...which is good. With exfoliating your skin will retain more moiture. However it can be harmfull if you have condition called Rosacea but it is good for acne. It will make your rosacea much worse so avoid it if any of your family members have rosacea

Its a superficial (not reaching the dermal layer) exfoliant.
Glycolic acid is the smallest AHA molecule, and best working.
