I did soem research and what I have come up with is that it is a dominant action. She is marking her territory and sleeping on a different part of the bed. This could be because you have other animals, you share your bed with someone else or children. She is trying to tell someone to stay off the bed. To correct the problem, make her stay off the bed and show her it isnt her territory to mark or control. Good Luck and I wish I coudl give you a sight to go to, but I couldnt find any good ones. Good Luck!

Is she spayed? Does she do this when she is asleep?

If the answer to these two questions is yes, then there is a very high likelihood that she suffers from b*tch spay incontinence, which is caused by the drop in hormones. There are a few approaches to treatment for this condition, and it is usually well-controlled once you find the right treatment. Consult with your vet.

It depends on different factors. How old is she ? Is she fixed? Some older females will develop incontinence like people . I would take her to the vet to make sure she doesn't have a infection which is causing leakage.

I can not give you a scientific answer. However, when my Bulldog/Lab mix puppy was about 5 months old she use to wet herself while sleeping on the kitchen floor, occasionally. It depends on the age I think.
