I have a cat but I don't know the cat's breed. It has dark brown stripes on its face and light brown stripes on its legs. Its tail is turning into a light brown color. The rest of the body is white. Can someone please tell me the cat's breed?

To me, it looks like a birman or maybe a balinese.

Hi there again...a cat would be considered a domestic short hair (DSH) with tabby point markings if there are no official pedigree papers. Your cat may appear to have some asian mix breed such as a Siamese or Balinese. Birman's have dark colouration, which your cat doesn't have.

Here are some photos of each:

so as: a million. Siamese 2. Burmese 3. American SH 4. Ragdoll 5. unique 6. Sphynx 7. Persian yet aside from the Siamese or Burmese, there are different cats i could choose. I truthfully would not very own any of them previous the 1st 2 for fairly some reasons. I choose my Ocicats and additionally Cornish Rex, Oriental SH, Australian Mist, Tonkinese, Russian Blues if I have been finding out on the breeds.

Could be a siamese with tabby points (couldn't see the picture on your website very well). I have a red tabby siamese--dark apricot nose, faded red tabby strips on his head, legs and tail, all the rest of him is cream. Very pretty cat, very talkative, but VERY loving. Whatever the breed, just love him and he'll be the best pet in the world.

ok you are talking about 2 different things here - COLOR and BREED

BREED can ONLY be determined based on parentage..and therefore PEDIGREE.. a cat with no registration papers CANNOT be refered to as any breed - it is simply a DOMESTIC CAT

COLOR - ok the stripes are a TABBY pattern the cat is either a "TABBY POINT" or a TABBY WITH WHITE...

is the body actually WHITE like paper or light beige?? if light beige then your cat is "tabby point"

It's probably just a mixed breed known as "American Short hair" or "American Long hair" depending on how long the fur is.

Sounds like a calico. But if you bring it to the vet, they'll probably say it's a domestic short-hair!
