I started out weighing 255lbs, but through serious calorie restriction (I went from probably 3000 a day to on average 200 to 500 a day now) and I am currently at 177lbs. I feel huge, but most people say I look fine how I am. Is 177lbs too much to weigh at 5'6"? Thanks

I'm sure you feel better that you did at 255lbs! I found a comfortable weight at 5'6" was about 165lbs. If I lose more than that I feel uncomfortable. Keep on doing what you are doing but add exercise. There is no point being 165lbs if it is all flabby. No one notices how much you weigh as opposed to if you are toned.
I weigh more than I should but when I tell people my weight, they never believe me. They always guess 20-30lbs under, before I tell them. I used to think they were being polite until I weighed in at my Doctor's and he couldn't believe what the scale read either.

do what you think and not what others think look in the mirror if you decide how you think you look. Don't just do what people tell you to do. according to your body mass you are over weight. but you have lost a lot of weight keep up the good work and do what you think is write for you you need to eat write about 2000 calories a day you burn calories for thinking and even sleeping it is I'm portant to eat in a correct manor and become healthy below is a diet plan that i have been doing and its is working very well
check it out and good luck ~

First of all, congratulations on the weight loss, but 200 - 500 calories a day is not near enough calories to consume. I can understand you wanting to lose the weight, but the way you are doing it is by basically becoming anorexic. You are setting yourself up for serious future health problems, like organ failure. Please reconsider your diet, and try to find something healthier. Good luck to you!

I don't think it matters either way. I think you should pat yourself on the back for losing the weight you have lost already. If people tell you that you are looking good than I am sure you look fine. I just wanted to say congrats for losing the weight and keep up the good work!! :)

You should check out your body fat distribution with calipers, or log into WebMD and look into your BMI. That's body mass index. It will let you know if you're still on the high end of overweight. As for me, I think you should not be extreme in your diet intake, it could lead to serious health issues, walk the weight off....It's free and easy! Good Luck!

Only if you want a guy to desire you for sex, othwise it is fine. At 5'6" 135lbs or less is desireable.
