Hey..

We've been going out for only 2 weeks, and had 6 dates in that time.. His name is Dean, he's so cute and hot! But that's not the point, he's 19 and I'm 15, is he too old for me?? I met him at a party I went to, he's really nice. But I just think guys who are 19 are more mature, my ex was 17 and totally broke my heart.. Is he too old for me? Should I have sex with him? or just keep it on a make-out leval? and will he get arrested for rape? Cuz I love him and it's not like he's 22 or something. Plus he has a car.. And he's really hot. And so nice.......

I know from personal experience that you should try guys closer toyour age. A 19 year old has totally different priorities than you do and he will probably expect a more mature relationship than you are used to. You nee dto have the time to live a little and grow up more before you think about a serious relationship at your age. You will regret it later if you get hooked up with him now.

I met my ex husband when I was 14, he was 18. He had more time to live his own life and he was out at bars drinking when I hadn't even graduated yet. Everyone told me to wait to get a serious boyfriend and I married him instead and by my 21st birthday we were already divorced because his life was in a different place than mine because he was more experienced than me. You need time to learn things on your own before you get hooked up with an older guy.

Consider the following:

1. You have been dating for 2 weeks and you say you love him? That isn't love, it is infatuation.

2. He is over 18 and you are under, this equals statutory rape.

3. The reasons you "love" him are because he is "hot" and he "has a car".

4. No matter if he just turned 18 or is 30, it is still considered statutory rape, even if it is consensual.

5. 19 year olds guys are no different than 17 year old guys. It seems like it to you but in all reality, they are the same. A 19 year old guy will break your heart too.

6. You shouldn't even be having sex unless you are prepared to take responsibility for the consequences. You are only 15, and cant even work anywhere for more than $7.00, and that's if your lucky. Plus 15 year olds are only allowed to work a certain number of hours a week.

Bottom line, stay away from him. He probably only wants one thing from you.

Hey Girl, I think 19 is a little bit too old. You're 15 and he's 19... 19 year olds know alot more about the world than 15 year olds do. Just because he has a car, it doesn't mean he can have your body, too. Keep it on a level you are comfortable with and just realize that your actions can have consequences, if you plan on being sexually active, get some birth control and use condoms every time. I'm sorry the 17 year old broke your heart, but just because he did doesn't mean every guy will. If I were you, I'd sit your boy down and talk to him. Make sure he likes you too and find out if he plans on having the relationship being exclusive (you only date him, he only dates you) that way you don't get your heart broken again.
Just listen to your heart... and don't forget your MIND too.

GOOD LUCK!

I cannot tell if this question is real or just someone that has enough points on this thingto spare... I'll just tell myself it is real and answer it: Yes, the guy is too old, and by the way you wrote this question I imagine you are quite the ditzy little girl. Second, don't have sex with the guy cuz you will totally become attached to him and the guy totally will want nothing to do with ou once he's had you in the sack. Thirdly, he probably won't want to keep it in the make out level once you've offered him sex.
Totally, this guy will so break your heart, like for sure. The last thing you will remember is how is so totally drove you around for a month and a half before you've realized that you have so totally been played.

By law a 19 year old may not date anyone under 16 and by law none 18 years of age or older can have sex with someone 17 or younger.

I suggest you play on the safe side and stop seeing him until you hit 16, you would feel really terrible if he ended up in jail.

Anyone 18 or older who has sex with someone under 16 is child molesting, anyone 18 or over who has sex with a 16 or 17 year old is staturtory rape.

I would really suggest you watch yourself, he could be a predator..Most adults who go after kids for girlfriends usually are

First of all, you are too young to be having sex. You need to start respecting yourself already, damn girl! Second of all, it's called statutory rape--when you are over 18, dating someone who is under 18 is ILLEGAL. If you were my daughter, I would press charges against this guy and Anyway, that's beside the point. There is nothing that a 19 year old guy wants with a 15 year old girl, except for illegal sex. If he says he likes you and wants a relationship with you, that's a crock of ****. He just wants to get in your pants. Run, don't walk away from this situation.

no it is not too old.the sex part wait untill u really know him. My boyfriend is 23 and im 17(6 years apart), we've been going out for over a year and a half years and i have never looked back. if you want to have sex with him, wait untill u 16 so that the cops dnt arrest him for statutory rape. i waited till i was 16 but i only slept with my boyfriend for the first time this year. my parents love himand so do i. If you really do likhim and thinkthat it vould lead to love. Stick with him.

It is illegal for him to be "with" you in any physical way.

Second, your average 19 year old is considering marriage, living together, etc... Most 15 year olds are worried about zits, and sometimes still playing with Barbie dolls when no one is looking. Either that 19 year old is socially retarded, or you're wayyyy advanced for your age (you really thinking about marriage?), or the two of you are just in it for sex and cars.

Third, if you two have sex, and your parents know that you're dating, then most prosecutors will bring charges against HIM as well as YOUR PARENTS. How many people do you want in jail because "he's really hot" and "he has a car"???

yes he can get arrested for rape.. you are a minor and he is an adult. if he doesnt use you and both of your parents are comfortable with it then it shoudl be fine. but 19 is a little old. so what if he has a car? ar you using him for his car? thats what it sorta sounds liek you shoudl ave your own car within a couple years anyways... but dont have sex with him, keep it on a make otu level. and yeah he can get arrested and get documented as a sex offender that will haunt him for many years and im sure neither of you want that.. if he is smart he will nto try to initiate sex with you.

I would be concerned if HE wanted to take it further than make out level only because I think it could put him at risk even if you didn't say anything. If someone else said something he could be liable and it wouldn't be pretty.

I would take it slow, you can always be friends no matter what, but if you have sex and it doesn't work out, then you could lose him as a friend.
