My dog is 7 to 8 months old. We just got him Monday. We were told that he was part collie/ part German Sheppard. but i don't think so. Can anyone tell what he is?? (he has spots on his feet and nose too)

He's gorgeous!! I would guess maybe Yellow Lab/Border Collie. The color really looks like a yellow lab.

Good looking dog. I dont see any German Shepard in him at all. German Shepard is my favorite kind of dog. I dont see any collie either. I used to have a dog that was 1/2 german shepard 1/2 collie he looked like a german shepard and had the coloring of one but had a longer nose and the long hair or a collie.

His colour and body is that of a Lab, but his markings, white markings on his paws are a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever.

Duck tolling retrievers and golden retirevers are commonly mistaken for each other. When identifying a dog, look try to look up pictures of mixed breeds of what you think it is. Note all the feature of the dog,ears, fur length,height,markings....etc. Your dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever/ yellow lab.

definately looks yellow lab and maybe collie. Animal shelters guess at the breed they are not accurate

It looks like he is either a Lab or Golden Retriever mixed with Australian Cattle Dog or Australian Shepherd. I have a friend that has a Lab/Aussie shepherd cross and she looks very similar to your dog.

Part collie and lab.. I see NO GSD in him at all.. he is very nice looking though.

My best guess would be Lab something. I don't see any shepherd at all.
He looks like he could have setter in him too, or that could be the collie.
