I know your pain. I have a 10 year old cat who has been hateful her whole adult life. Most people say she is demon possessed.
Who knows?

I have had many different cats over my years, and I honestly believe that just like people, they all have different personalities and some are just more psychotic than usual. There are multiple different types of bad kitty behavior and ways to deal with them. Two major things I have learned, is that one, cats do not respond to punishment the way dogs do. You cannot yell at them or swat them with a newspaper and expect them to understand. They will only learn to not trust anyone who does this. Second thing is, if you do not like the cat, or think that she is bad, or "demonic", as you put it, the cat can read this in you and will respond accordingly. I have had several cats like this and it helps to be nice to them and show you are compassionate, even if they may be acting negitively towards you. I have grown up around cats and if there is one thing I know, cats are not demonic nor unappreciative. They are very independent yes, but strive for attention as well. They also respond differently to reactions differently than dogs do. They can sense human emotion and their mood and behaviors depend on how they are treated at home. If a cat is tortured at home, it will be very defensive, if a cat is loved at home (like mine) they are so loveable and non-defensive. Try brushing your cat, getting a toy for your cat, or being extra friendly to it. I also agree with Texas McCoy.

Not at all that superstition happened because back when we were very superstitious we believed that a black cat was a pet of witches and that witches turned themselves into cats. Kitties are cute lovable and angelic not demonic.

First of all, cats are not demonic. Cats are very sensitive to human emotion and she is reading you and reacting.

She's not demonic. And just because she's angry doesn't mean she's a demon.

As a dog person, cats are very unappreciateive in general and that's why I don't like them. I also don't like cleaning up a pets poo (litterbox).
