It sounds like a joke but seriously speaking it can be a sort of real kind of phobia and diagnosis. There is a sort of song parody which used such term " Santaclaustrophobia".Check out this link:

yeah, that was pretty bad.... but what i cant stand are those pic jokes (just the bad ones; LOVE the good ones) or corny flash christmas cards...ugh.
