I have a recyled ornament craft that takes NOTHING more than what I already have on hand for Christmas anyway. I use glass bulbs from my Christmas box (usually those colors that I have only a few left due to breakage of the others), half-inch squares/triangles of wrapping paper (can be the pieces you cut off when wrapping), and watered-down glue. Remove the hanger from the end, and begin decoupaging the pieces of wrapping paper onto the ball. Start at the top and work toward the bottom of the bulb. You may choose to use all one kind of wrapping paper or two or more types - test any tissue paper since some can bleed when wet. Let dry. If desired, add glitter to the bulb while the glue is still wet. Replace the hanger and enjoy.

Since you seem to be a crafty, I'm sure you have some acrylic paint on hand (glass paint works best but acrylic will work). Buy some clear ball ornaments that are all on sale now at the craft stores.Remove the top off the ball.Squirt a little paint inside the ball and swirl around.Do this again with another color.Turn the ball upside down an drain in a paper cup. Once drained, squirt gold paint inside, covering any bare spaces in the ball. Put the top back on and hang your "stained glass" ornament.

Throughout the year, save your change in a jar. Before Christmas, count how much you've saved. Then find a 99-cent store and buy decorations. You'll save your own supplies and a lot of time and energy.
