I used to bite my lip in the same spot. Of course, because of that my lip would bleed. I have stopped biting my lip but now a dark brown spot is in the place where i used to bite . I have tried to get laser treatement but no one will do the procedure because they say the skin on the lip is too thin. My dermatologist suggested i try liquid nitrogen to burn the spot away but that sounds too scary. Is there anything topical I can put on my lip to fade the color?

You could try a fade cream but make sure after using the cream you apply a suncreen of at least spf45.

Try that scardema ointment that they sell at Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aide. It reduces scars/ pigment discloration from sugerys, burns, skin traumas. It was pretty pricey, about $17.00 for a tube of it.
