I say eggs because most people forgot tghat dinosours and other reptiles laid eggs in pre historic times.

Well, I don't know if dinosaurs or other reptiles laid chicken eggs or not, but I think that it is one of the possible theory of what might have happened.

I say egg, definently egg, because it doesn't say "which came first, the chicken or the CHICKEN egg" it just says egg, so dinosaurs existed way before the chicken. Some people here are saying "some dinosaur came first and that evolved inot the chicken so the chicken came first" well no, the dinosaur came first, stupid, and the question says nothing about dinosaurs...
others say "god created chickens in the garden of eden, he didn't create the egg first" well what about those giant skeleton things with the huge teeth and claws, what do they call those things...oh! dinosaurs. yeah, they're just ignoring the dinosaurs and their eggs.
So yeah, egg came first from a SCIENTIFIC standpoint, and this question is a scientific question. don't like it? DEAL WITH IT
P.S. i am not really mad at anyone, just frustrated that most people say the chicken came first

i don't know the question, i know its about an egg but what is the question? is it which came first or what, i think the chicken cause if we are talking about chicken eggs then the chicken has to come first, now if we are talking about dinosour eggs then the dinosour still comes first before the egg. either way the egg is always last

I agree with you A.M... I've been giving this answer for all the similar types questions but no one agrees. I never got my answer as the best answer. I always found tht askers here often choose best answers randomly by "ini- mini- myni- mo" and stuff like tht. i strongly feel tht whn dinosours evolved before birds and layed eggs. Then it is sure tht egg came first. Hen evolved from the first bird wch also layed eggs. And if we talk about chicken egg then Chicken must've evolved from sme bird wch layed eggs and from one of those eggs the first chicken came into this world.

Eggs... back then, they were the only things getting laid... the chickens decided to cross the road and get there share of the action..That's where the roosters come into to the scene.

Egg because the chicken has to change at some point and it doesn't change once it's a chicken. It has to change when it is in the egg stage.
And please. Don't ever rely upon The Bible for any type of scientific answer. Or anything else for that matter.
