wat does it mean 1 lemon, of rind? i kno its lemon peel but wats w/ da 1?

i think it means the juice of one lemon, plus the zest. the zest is the color on the lemon peel, but on the white. the white on the peel is bitter, but the color, or zest, is where all of the essential oils are, and where there is the most flavor. its a great addition to any recipe that calls for citrus because it adds so much flavor. that's what it should mean.

The rind of the lemon is the peel itself. The yellow part only.

They're talking about lemon zest. In order to do that you need a citrus zester. It's a weird looking little thing but you can find it anywhere that sells cooking items. Zest is great for flavoring so I recommend it
