i am 16 and my by is 22.if someone found oout we had sex would he go to jail if i consented to it.

ok we r not haveing sex,and we wont be a while but i am already mature enough to take care of kids i have a 11 month old nephew who i take care of 24/7.he really does love me ,if you knew me you would understand how mature i really am.I am homeschooled and have a fulltime job and earn a paycheck and pay for my school and other things,im not some girl who is boy crazy and still pitches fits when her parents wont let her go to a party.

It's statutory rape, because you are 16 it's not as high a sentence, but still illegal. Wait, your life hasn't even started yet, so why put yourself in this position.

The legal sex consent age in Georgia is 16!! HOWEVER!!, that is only if your partner is UNDER 18!! Which yours is not!
Anyone over the age of 18, having sex with someone under 18 is committing statutory rape and can go to jail. In Georgia when charged with statutory rape you are almost always charged also with Child Molestation. The mandatory sentence for this is 10 years and normally the convicted will serve all 10. So if I were you, I would just be friends with this man for a couple more years.

Of course it's rape, and yes, even if you consented. By the way I hope you do understand that as of today, there are no methods of birth control that are 100% affective. In other words I hope you are prepared to have a child and take care of one. Anyone who is mature enough to offer her "va" should be mature enough to shoulder any and all issues and unwanted responsibilities that arise from such behavior, pregnancy, STD's, emotional problems..etc. And by the way have you ever asked him why he didn't choose a GF his own age? (Because he loves you so much and there are no older girls out there that are sutible?), perhaps the older women know something you don't. (Young and Fooshish Syndrome??) While you have your "fun" at night I, and all those who care about you will be hoping and praying that you don't become just another "single uneducated mother on welfare..." (as I did) or worst a "single uneducated young woman dying of AIDS or some other nasty STD"..(as my dear cousin, RIP, did)
Love is strong, I know, but please Think before you spread those legs of yours. And remember, if he "REALLY" loves you, he would wait the 2 years until it's legal and you have graduated and have a better chance at life. You're worth it.

Yep. In any state if the doer is more than 4 years older or 21, he can go to jail, no matter what you say!
Keep them together till college, you will never regret it.
What kind of sick 22 yo is messing with a 16 year old anyway? Don't you wonder that, or are you so proud of yourself that you got an older man you never wondered why do doesn't like girls his own age?

16 in Georgia. Also the only way anyone would find out is a) You become pregnant b) You tell someone c) Someone sees you Since you are over the age of consent in Gergia there is no problem.
