He is my best guy friends older brother. I have liked him for a long time, and i am a freshman, and he is a sophomore. When i see him in the halls, i get butterflys, and he kinda checks me out and half smiles. But when i leave him comments on his myspace, he hardly ever replies. I dont know what to do, i really really like him, but it hurts too. It is hard to know that sophomores rarely even look at freshman. What should I do?

maybe you should try spending alot of time with your friend at her house where he is and try to start a conversation with him ..................which could lead to a relationship wether it be as just friends or the way youve always imagined it........play it cool don't act to obvious thats just plain annoying........

"you gotta, STAND OUT, above the crowd...even if you gotta shout out loud." Seriously, they guy is not going to talk to you much if he thinks that you are going to take from him. Yes, I said take.

Think of it this way. You want him for (A), and, if he is looking, needs (B). Well, you don't know what B is and you are not going to pretend to be B just for a guy, b/c that makes less sense than asking for love advise off of the internet. Regardless, you want something from him, don't need to know what, you probably don't know what it is, you just want it. Now, you must make yourself of value. You should do something extracurricular that he would usually see you do, have fun with it. When you confidence goes up, you will see that he will have more interest in you because, you some how acquired B, or you created a C that he did not know he wanted.

Or, if you are really immature, tell him you like him in the most adult fashion you can muster. None of this diving behind your friends bs.

Obviously he is not interested in you. Leave him alone. Find someone else.
