essentially, i've ben with a girl for 6 months, and we're both free in a way. i go out with my freinds once a week and there no questions asked. i've never used it, but she also goes out with her freinds from college about once a month. i ask no questions what happens, so i don't know if she's ever used her freedom. for all i know, she hasn't - and the whole speculating whats happening can be fun.

we just have three rules: always use utmost protection, we communicate about concerns, and anything we do is jst a hook up. - nothing to get between us.

but i have a freind who insists girls are wired to get attached to whatever guy they hook up with. and he's busting my chops because my gf admits she's hooked up with 'hotties' for the hell of it at clubs before she was with me.

I guese i'm asking whether there are normal girls out there that would actualy see it as a good thing to have a guy to come home to but at the same time not giving up the freedom to have a little fun?

I think the answer is no, girls do not have purely physical hookups. Sex is an emotional thing for women if they try to deny it or not. So yeah, she might be okay with giving you some freedom to roam or even possibly taking some herself, but if you two have been hooking up for 6 months, I guarantee she is going to be emotional if suddenly that stops or you take on a serious girlfriend who will eventually or immediately replace her. Eventually though, the long term hook-up situation is going to play out badly for one of the two of you unless you both agree to start a real relationship with one another.

some girls might be able to have a purely physical hook up, w/o falling for the guy they get with. i know i did, with my first boyfriend. however, with my second (current) boyfriend, it's totally different. for the first week or so, it was physical, but then i fell head over heels for him---and still am falling head over heels for him. and i can't just "hook up" with a guy---it's either a boyfriend, or no---a close friend, who's going to be a boyfriend or something like that. i'm a normal girl. i want a guy like my boyfriend to come home to. my boyfriend is: funny; playful; tickles me; spoils me; holds me when i'm cold or whenever else i need/want it; does the romantic stuff; makes it so that, when i look into his eyes, i know everything's going to be all right; and a dozen more things. but anyway, that's just me---it's not my way to "hook up" with just any guy.

Some girls can have a F-buddy and it means nothing, MOST can't.

Separating love and sex is difficult for most women, and some men. I can separate love and sex, my husband can't. It's irrelevant for us now, since we are married and in love, but the fact remains.

Open relationships are interesting. and can be fulfilling if the people involved understand and respect the lifestyle. The majority of women do NOT find this lifestyle acceptable.

i understand females like this. of direction, some females will substitute into attatched to adult adult males from appearing like this, in spite of the undeniable fact that it extremely relies upon on the lady. females, purely like adult adult males, could have exciting with out starting to be attatched. particularly because she's spending time at golf equipment and bars, possibility is she's no longer attempting to locate a relationship there. Being a woman myself, i understand that us females get exhilaration from flirting purely for the attention. i do no longer think of you particularly have something to fret approximately.

well you sound more like you're interested in a swinger relationship but here's my take.

it is nice to have a man to come home to, but when i have that it is strictly me and him no messing around on the side.

it is nice to have a one night stand once in awhile as well. i've been told by guys i act more like a guy when i'm in my one night stand mode. so yeah i've been called a heart breaker quite a few times. so for your buddy, there are just as many guys who don't understand the concept of a one night no strings attached sex fest.

i think it boils down to what you are looking for at that moment in your life. swinger, single, or couple-dom.

I think the person(s) to ask would be a prostitute/hooker. I'm sure they do it all the time.
