I worked for a company that used to make it. It can burn, and it can leave a rash. Be absolutely sure to do the skin test before you use it. I've known people who use it on their underarms and even the face (the woman had a moustache), as well as their legs, but they're not sensitive to it. My old company did make a bikini nair, but the brand was sold to another company, and I don't know if they make it or not. Don't use it there unless the product is specifically marked as being safe to use in the genital area.
OK, now the BEST use for nair! Honest, it's fabulous, but you really need to find nair at a dollar store for this. My old company gave us free "goodie bags" of various products once a month. Every month almost the entire company would go through them when they got home, find the nair, and squeeze a tube or two down every drain in the bathrooms. It takes longer than most, but you really can't find a better drain cleaner anywhere. My hair was 3 feet long then, and I never had a problem with my drains when I was using nair in them!

You should put it on dry hair. The bet thing is not to keep it on for a long time, it'll sting. I don't really like Nair because of that, I prefer Veet because it gets rid of more hair on my legs than Nair.

Hello Alexa,
I woudn't recommend Nair because any chemical that desolves hair most likely seaps into the skin and is toxic to the body. I tried it a few times and it broke me out in a severe rash that burned for days and still didn't get rid of my hair. I would suggest Salley Hansens home waxing kit or preferably go to a pro and see how it is done. It is painful at first but your hair is thinned and it doesn't grow back for thirty days. Now that is nice...until you can get perminent removal by electrolasis which is extremely painful and expensive but perminent!

You can use Nair. It'll last about a week to two weeks. If you've never tried it before, test a small area to make sure you're not allergic. Only use it on your legs. For more sensitive areas, opt for the Nair Bikini Lotion.

Nair does work well for most people. My friends use it and it works wonders. Make sure you follow the directions and test a small area of skin before using because i learned the hard way and had a reaction to it. I think it says on the bottle something about not using it around the vaginal areas. Hope this helps:)

Nair works. It would lasts for 4days. The only problem is that not every hair will be removed that you'll have to check if everthing was removed and if that happens, you'll have to shave those hairs gently.

I used Nair on my legs and it worked... I like Veet more but that is up to you... just make sure you do not leave it too long or you'll burn your skin... it is not recommended to be used in vaginal area... but you should read the instructions

I don't like Nair. I like Veet. The sensitive wax one is really good. It's painless and keeps your legs hairless for a month.
