i am very self concious about my looks and that's why i am so shy to go up to people because i constantly think they are looking at me. At 19, i have some pimples, skinnky, 6'3", and a broken nose. I think my nose is huge now and i cant get over it. My overall appearance is killing my social life. Is appearance the reason why i have never gone on a date?

= Perhaps you need to have more confidence. You might need to go to an ENT (Ear Nose and Throat) specialist and if your nose needs repair he will fix it. If it is a deviated septum your insurance should cover it. Then have confidence and start having fun.
Happy Holidays and God Bless.

The first two things you said are probably affecting your social life more than your personal appearance. Since you know you are self concious about the way you look and it makes you shy, there is no other solution than to improve your personal appearance. There is nothing anyone can tell you that will convince you to "go for it" if you truly do not feel good about how you look. Since the problems you mentioned are fixable..........fix them.

Make a plan to improve your appearance. There are very effective pimple creams. Get one. 6'3" is an asset, not a negative. Work out to add a little bulk to your frame. Check on how much it cost to get a nose job and save up.

Then will you be confident? Then will you be too shy to go up to people? You will have to practice your social skills to overcome that one. Sometimes, the most beautiful people in the world feel exactly like you do because their personal expectations of attractiveness are wayyyy too high.

Best of luck to you, dear.

Well, going by this description I'd say you just fractured or bruised it: Broken Nose Symptoms Signs that suggest a person has a broken nose may include the following: * Tenderness when touching the nose * Swelling of the nose or face * Bruising of the nose or under the eyes (black eye) * Deformity of the nose (crooked nose) * Nosebleed * When touching the nose, a crunching or crackling sound or sensation like that of rubbing hair between 2 fingers * Pain and difficulty breathing out of the nostrils

People are really shallow nowadays. The b!tches that won't date you just because of your looks are b!tches you don't want to go out with anyway. So they are doing you a favor. Start hitting the gym and get some meat on your bones. This will give you more confidence and ladies!

Did the doctor set the nose back properly?
Let a proper medical professional rebreak the thing, and set it right.

you could have a lot more wrong with you than that, and still go on dates, if you allow yourself to been seen for what you are inside, stop worring so much about how you look and other people will too

possibly... teenagers are superficial. Luckily you are getting older. Work on your confidence and social skills. Honestly, you will get more dates by being funny than handsome.
