My hair is naturally dark brown so it is really fried. I've decided I want to go back to my natural dark brown color and grow it out longer. But the hair I've got now is just so dry and dull, from the bleaching and flat iron, it wouldn't look nice as is. What is the best hair product/ serum/ reconstructor that you've ever used? Please help! Thanks!!

get a good hair cut...remove all the fired pieces..go for a real sporty hair do now..let your hair gro back nautraly. You could use non perment color if you want to help ease the roots. I use chi silk infusion..you only need a drop or 2 and it makes your hair very smooth, sleek and shiny. When you wash your hair..try not to use dryers, etc on it if you can..that will aslo help to get your hair in beter shape. But from the sounds of it..no amount of condiotner etc..is going to make your fired, over bleached hair healthier..you have to get a short cut..and start from there.

If I were you I would go to Sally's beauty supply store, if you have one, and they have a product that is a translucent deposit hair color. It does not lift and it only adds color and shine. It will not harm your hair at all and has whey proteins and soy proteins in it. I use it all the time. It is more like a glaze with color. It will give your hair back some luster and shine. Trust me you will love it. You don't want to leave it on too long because it will darken your hair but it won't lift. it is deposit only. IT is called Clairol Professional radiance. You need the color infuser to go with it. They also make it is clear shine which is no color and strictly for the shine. It is really cheap $8.00 for the deposit and the infuser.

Please, stop flat ironing! It literally kills hair!
Anywayz :-D

Pop a bowl of coconut or olive oil in the microwave, for a few minutes. Once it's warm, massage it into your scalp, not sparingly!!! Leave the oil in for 30-60 minutes and then wash it out twice with shampoo and then add conditioner. Leave your conditioner in for a few minutes and then wash it out.
After that, dry your hair natually and run a comb/brush through it. Don't overcome, just quickly run it down your hair. And once your hair has dried completely, naturally mind you, comb/brush it.

You need a protein treatment to rebuild your hair structure. Your hair is lacking shine because it is damaged. Repair your hair and it's natural sheen will return without adding more product.
