Being infatuated is when you don't really know someone that well but become very attracted to the. You begin thinking of them constantly, wondering what it would like to be with them. I don't believe it is all about wanting to have sex with them, sometimes you have chemistry and a real connection and you think more about having a future than having sex. You start dreaming of this person, want to flirt with them or be near them. THIS IS NOT LOVE. Love is a much deeper feeling when you feel really good when you think about them, being infatuated usualy occurs when you can't get someone or have not yet and usually includes heartbreak. Love is being secure with them. I don't believe you can be in love with someone unless you are actually in a relationship with them for a while. You may be infatuated with someone that you have just started dating due to the newness of it and the "high" or "buzz" of a new relationship when you can't wait to touch that person and be near that person. Love takes time to happen, the initial buzz wears off and you realize that even when that person disappoints you , you still want to be with them.

depends on what you mean by true love, emotional love or love that's built through time. emotional love comes and goes, but the love that lasts (i like to think if this kind as true love) is built by going through things together, gaining eachother's trust, and being there for eachother through hard times... this kind of love is a daily choice. infatuation is where this kind of love sometimes gets it's start, but if you can't get past that initial infatuation, then it just becomes empty

Love is just a trick mother nature plays on us to get us to reproduce.
You know when you're infatuated when you are really hot for someone's bod and you can barely think of anything else.
