An Italian surname is requiring an Italian sound....!! Here is :

GIAN = pronounced like "Jun" of Jungle
FOR = exactly as you say "For" of Force
TE = sounds as the "Te" of Tempest

To be 100% perfect you should stress (accent) on the vowels U and O.

Jun with a short U as in the word "Umbrella"
Fohr with a VERY pronounced R (almost rolling your tongue)
Teh as you would say Te in the word "Tenant"

That seems to be an Italian surname, so I'm giving you the pronunciation as it would be if it were. Bear in mind that a lot of Italian surnames outside of Italy went through changes over the years.

the closest English pronunciation is "john-for-tay" but the initial "j" is soft like the french name "Jean Paul" for example.
