OK-here I go again, sounding like a commercial. I was burned over 40% total body in a patrol car accident a few years ago. I had a total of 12 skin graft surgeries. Obviously I've had skin issues since. I have tried Glycerin, Aloe Vera and every kind of lotion on the market including udder balm. The very best thing you can get to improve your skin is a product called " Eucerin" It comes in a lotion or a cream. It's available at most grocery stores and drug stores. "Eucerin" just came out with a new product that is the best lotion yet, It's called " Eucerin Calming Cream" . Eucerin products don't have a lot of alcolhol or fragrance in them. They don't dry your skin or burn for the same reason.
I will say the only downside to Eucerin is the fact that it can be a little on the greasy side so don't use to much until you figure out how much you really need. Eucerin is a better product then Glycerin. Glycerin is used for many things like tanning leather and is safe but Eucerin is best of all.

I've never heard of using glycerin to improve skin, but you do have a couple of choices:

Glycerin is sold as a liquid and you can get it at Wal-mart or Walgreens, etc.

There are also some bar soaps that contain Glycerin.

I'm not sure exactly what it is, but I know we used it in a science experiment when we taught our girl scout troop about bubbles. Glycerin is what makes soap slippery, so it probably reduces or eliminates the friction on water and keeps the bubbles wet. Maybe it does the same for skin...

good luck!

There are many web sites that report those components, "Vegan and Proud" has a high-quality reply. The best thing more i could say is that a few elements have more than one resources - vegan or no longer. So simply due to the fact that a organization tells you thier colouring ( eg) is vegan one week does no longer imply its vegan the following week. The best method to be certain is a vegan image anmd to generally cook dinner from uncooked elements. One instance is Ribena. SKB endorse greens and vegans determine each and every 6 months due to the fact that they difference the supply of thier ingrdients mostly. You are doign the correct factor. Veggies and vegans will have to continually determine ingrdients lists. Without doing that, its simply guesswork and one might no longer ligitimately name yourself a veggie or vegan with out doing so. Who could of inspiration that greens can not consume tinned greens - mad eh ?? Suppliers can pass over off a few elements due to the fact that they're hint, however certainly not-the-much less, carrots on the whole have non-veggie colouring within the tin
