i dont mind if my childs father visits with him, i just dont want him taking the baby by himself to his place and around the people he hangs with (not a good crowd).....but if he goes for visitation rights i have no choice but to let him right?

RIGHT. If there is a court order then you could go to jail for something called contempt. So if there is a order in place I would definetly tell you to follow that, otherwise you could lose you child. Also if you have proof that the places and people he will take the baby too then you could try to fight him in court and make the claim that the child would be in danger, but that is something that you would have to prove also. No, if you can prove that the child is in danger when with Dad, the courts can insist on supervised visitation.

Not exactly. You can bring letters of evidence of his character and environment to the judge and get monitored visitation.
