No you can bring your purse with you when traveling. The items that need to be packed in a zip lock bag are liquids and gels. If you visit the TSA website http://www.tsa.gov/ they have the complete list of what you can and can not bring on the aircraft with you as well as they way that they need to be packed.

Hope this helps!

No, the only thing's that need to be put in a plastic bags are liquids or gels that were originally less then 3.oz. You are allowed to have one carry-on bag, plus a personal item like a purse or back pack.

Yes, ziplock bags and only in very small "travel" quantities.
I would suggest not to take anything but a magazine, put all other stuff in your "checked" bag.
Oh, and you can not carry drinks on anymore either. Plus, if you have a drink or food before going thru security, they will make you throw it away.
Better than being in England, they cannot carry anything on, period. Oh, take off your shoes and belts thru security.

You can bring your purse, however nothing liquid, i.e., liquid make-up, perfume, mouthwash, etc in your purse, it must all be in 3 oz containers in one quart size baggie in your baggage.
