There are no risks. A plastic surgeon or dermatogist can removed it. I have had one removed from a dermatolgist and 3 from a plastic surgeon. The one from the dermatolgist has a small scar, but it's totally gone. Out of the ones from the plastic surgeon.....one was still there after removal, another one partially there, and the 3rd totally gone with no sign it was ever there.
I have a few more I'd like removed, and I think I'll go back to the dermatologist so it' gone totally, as what good is it being removed if it's gonna grow back and it will grow back if they don't get all of it.
My insurance paid for the removals because I'm fair skin and they did it as a way of checking for skin cancer. However, if you do have to pay for the removal, it shouldn't be any more than $200 to $300 depending on where you live.

When you call to get your appointment, ask for a dermatologist or a general practitioner. most moles are simple to remove and can usually be done that day or they may ask you to return at a different time to get it done. it will be examined first for cancer and possible other disease. the Dr will give you options. There will be a scar if you are concerned about this and they dont like doing things on hands or faces and it does come with pain and discomfort for a while.....so really listen to the options. Costs vary because of demographics and procedural tasks. Good Luck!

It's good to get the mole removed, because it might sprout cancer. So I think you should get it removed. I think you should see a dermatologist, (that's who I talked to when I had to get mine removed) and she will probably use the machine that taps it with a lazer, and it peels off. There aren't any risks, just maybe that it'll hurt a bit.
