What's he into?
Golf-- golf towel, some mini pencils, a golf video game, some golf ball shaped chocolate candy
DVDs-- microwave popcorn, blockbuster gift card, 2- 20oz sodas, movie theater candy
Music-- a pook of poetry, a mixed cd of his favorite songs (maybe one cd of each of his favorite types of movies), a Wal-Mart music download gift card
Teen guy with little cash, but a big appetite-- all sorts of candy, mini bags of chips, mini bags of cookies, gum...
religion-- a mini bible, a christian cd, a christian t-shirt, christian candy, a variety of tracts
huge sports fan-- t-shirt of his favorite team, body paint to paint himself for the big game, food/ candy in his team's colors...

Don't give a guy a gift basket. He will hate it. That is way too girly. Why don't you put the gifts in toolbox, and put some tools in the toolbox, along with a CD of a great band, some beer/pop/other liquid, some of his favorite cookies, a small bottle of cologne, a 2007 calendar in one of his favorite themes, a funny book if he reads, and I could go on and on.
I did this for my husband the first Valentine's Day we were married, and five years later we still use that toolbox, and every year I added to it, and now it's full. He loves it, and so do I! You don't have to go crazy on the tools, just a few things.

VS beauty gifts? Endless Love smells nice. lol i love victoria's secret. btw i don't think you should put clothes in there. don't put too many things in it. A gift basket with maybe just like expensive belgian chocolate and maybe some beauty gifts would be nice. if you start to put everything and anything in there it will just start to look cheap. Trust me. and then maybe take her to the movies or a restaurant. along with the gift basket

dvd's, male health & beauty items, masculine colored candles (they do use them too:), their favorite sports tee tied with a bow, snack foods, if he's a partner any type of sexual items will entice him ....so visit a porn store ...fun for you and him....and even if he's just a freind a porn is a good gag gift cuz you can laugh over it but he's still gonna use it, car care products check out the auto section at walmart lol....they really do have a lot of cool things guys like, cd's, video games, mini drinks (if he's 21), if he smokes look in the tobacco isles for cool little gimic products that have flavors and so on cuz hey nothing says I love you like a flavored cancer stick LOL>>>>are any of those good ideas?

I'm making one for my guy right now. I got on the Internet and made a personalized flask with a picture of us from when first started dated,years ago, and it has a love quote from one of his favorite movies, and a bottle of crown(his drink of choice), and his favorite candy(sour patch kids) and a childhood snack him and his family adore(salami and cheese), a movie he's been searching over a year to own, cigs(although I don't smoke) and a hand written love letter. ;)

You really can't go wrong. you could try something like cologne, a scarf, a few books/albums, cigars, a bottle of wine. It's very dependent on who the recipient will be. You've got to keep their personality in mind.

I'd put things to eat, maybe a can or bag of pistachios, his favorite candy, a cute keychain (maybe one of his initials), if he's athletic or goes to gym-maybe Nike wristbands. Some men like beef jerky or how about a paperback mystery novel if he's a reader.

Wine, bath oil, candles, (they act all tough,but they do like this) Mens facial moisturizer ( I love the Body Shop!) cologne,a dirty movie and a personal gift certificate from you!

If you're a love interest or grandma: boxers, socks, stuff that you wish they wore but don't.
If you're a friend, co-worker or aunt-type: movie tickets, gift certificates to music store or electronics store.
For any guy: chocolate, candy, porn, beer, batteries, swiss army knife, food.
