It would prbably get frozen and get all messed up. I just keep mine in da' fridge

It is not terribly stable. If you're planning on using it in a week or two, the fridge is fine, but any longer storage is recommended in the freezer. Ever leave cool whip out on the counter? It will turn liquid if not kept cold.

I freeze mine if I don't need to use it for awhile. I think its dairy so it might go bad if left in the fridge too long.

it turns to liquid in the frig so you have to keep it frozen until you use it.
