somebody please help whoever does wins?

ok I downloaded a movie off limewire and i went to burn it on a dvd disc and it said the format was unknown except for the format is mpeg the programs i have to burn it are roxio popcorn and roxio toast titanum help me please

It might have been compressed with DIVX. You will have to uncompress it before remastering for DVD format.
