It means he's normal. Toddlers go through what's called an "oral phase" or "oral fixation." They explore their world by taste and texture, putting almost everything in their mouths. They also like to try to stick keys and small objects in electric outlets, because the outlets look like small mouths to them, and they want to "feed" them, so keep a close eye on him.

Kids love to put things in there mouth. It's their way of exploring their universe. Just keep an eye on him/her and make sure they don't get swallowed. Tell them it's dirty. That might help.

It could mean many things...he does it to irritate you, the only way he can grasp the concept of an object is to put it in his mouth or he is just experimenting.

I'm not sure. My little boy puts them in his pocket.
He puts buttons in his mouth. I guess it just means he likes buttons, and yours likes rocks. Typical kids. I remember eating dirt.

that hes a toddeler.itsperfectly normal for him to wany to put or experamint with putting things in his mouth.actually you should be worried if he dosent do this.just watch him carrfully.and remember dont worry its just a faze.

all little kids like to put things in their mouths.
you just have to watch what they put in.
they do it to explore new items just like infants (hmm whats this? is it good to eat? lets try)
