my boyfriend and I have been together for almost 5 years. A month and a half ago we took some time off and I met another guy. Well he and I spent a week and a half together after we really hit it off and then I chose to go back to my boyfriend. I thought the time apart would have made my boyfriend and I closer but I don't feel like much has changed.
Friday night, I went out with my friends and the other guy was there and we started talking and catching up and he admitted that he really had feelings for me and he asked me if I was happy. I had no clue what to say to that, I honestly didn't know. Well now I am hanging out with this other guy again(I have not done anything with him, we just talk and hang out) and now I don't know what to do! They are both opposites, I have a good physical connection with my boyfriend and not the other guy, but he and I hit it off emotionally. And I have so much history with my boyfriend. If you were in my position, what would you do?

Well, the boyfriend for five years obviously isn't going to go anywhere (no future)
The new guy doesn't have the physical "spark" you need in a relationship.
Let them both go and move on to the guy who will make you happy for life.

I get the feeling that you're staying with your boyfriend because you two have been together for so long that it's familiar and comfortable. Just the fact that you could take a break from your boyfriend and emotionally connect with someone else is a pretty good sign that this relationship has run its course. I know it's sad and scary, but you need to be fair and honest with yourself and with him. You owe it to both of you to end a relationship that you're not 100% committed to. That doesn't mean you have to start dating guy number two, either. I just think, from what you've said, it's time to move on, for your sake and his. Good luck to you.

It sounds like you already know. The obvious choice is the new guy. You and the boyfriend took time off for a reason. Get out now and move on. The physical connection will come in time, don't rush it.

Take some time for yourself, look into your heart and find out if you are truly happy with your boyfriend...seeing other men on your break was kind of a sign...you seem to be looking for something different but are not quite sure if you want to leave a comfortable situation. I would be honest! No one wants to have games played with them. So if you have these conflicting emotions sit bf#1 down and tell him the situation. One of two things is gonna happen. He will either A...ask how to make it better...or B...get mad and leave you all together! But you should never toy with their emotions. The longer you keep them both dangling, the deeper your hole will be

Analyze. Maybe everything you're talking with the new guy about, your old hat already knows.
Maybe it's just a new audience. Maybe you just like feeling like you've still got it.
Maybe you like feeling wanted and your old bf takes it for granted (as you do).
You'll have to ask yourself a few more questions, me thinks.
