Do we have to accept what used to be so morally wrong in our American culture? Do we have to be politically correct about things we once thought were dead wrong? Almost nothing shocks us anymore; are we becoming numb to "Acceptance and Tolerance"? Accepting, tolerating and making excuses for almost ANY behavior?
And no, I am not an old granny, I have a 9, 8 and 3 year old, but I'm just sick of the immorality in this world today and very afraid for my children!
Will it get worse or better?
What do you think? And what can we do?

I believe it's going to get worse! I'm glad my girls are raised, but how I fear for my granddaughter and future grandchildren! If something was wrong 50yrs ago, it's STILL wrong today according to our very unpolitically correct God, but the problem is that now the tail wags the dog. They say that if you discipline God's way, it's child abuse; your child can go to school at age 14yrs and get an abortion without your KNOWLEDGE, yet you're legally responsible for her 'til she's 18yrs old; it's CRAZY!
It USED to be that it was an oddity if a child turned out bad; now it's a rarity when a child turns out right. Yeah, we've come a LONG way, BABY, but we've gone the WRONG way !

Things will go the way they have been going - getting worse. When people turn away from God, things always get worse. I have a grandson, 2 years old. The only thing that I can do for him is to turn him over to the Lord, thru prayer. My son & daughter in-law don't teach much about the Bible and God. Jesus said "Let the little children come unto me." I am going to do my best to make sure that my grandson knows Jesus. Don't look at the long range picture of what the future well be. Take it one day at a time, that's all we can really handle, or we become paralized with fear, or become over protective. I will be praying for you and your children. Have a Blessed Christmas.

No matter what we teach our children, whether it's politically correct or not, someone out there always opposes someone else's opinion. Best to teach them to do and say what THEY believe is right, and not to pay attention to those who constantly have a rebuttal argument. What you and I think is morally wrong, some smart *** will argue the opposite - I'm going to teach my kids to follow their own hearts and make their own opinions on things. If they want to judge someone, then it's because they really think the person is deserving of it. I also think it's nice to see a mother who thinks about these kind of things and is willing to address the issues before they arise. Sounds like your kids will be raised in a healthy manner. Well done.

MATTHEW 7:1 AS YE JUDGE YE WILL BE JUDGED. WE ARE TO LOVE THE SINNER AND HATE THE SIN. THE BOTTOM LINE IS THAT FROM TIME TO TIME WE ALL MAKE JUDGEMENTS ABOUT ONE THING OR ANOTHER AND AS A RESULT WE WILL STAND IN JUDGEMENT BEFORE GOD. BUT BECAUSE OF HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON , OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS THE MESSIAH ALL OF OUR SINS CAN BE WASHED AWAY. AS TO WILL IT GET WORSE OR BETTER THE ANSWER IS WORSE. WE ARE ENTERING INTO THE LAST DAYS AND AS THE BIBLE LITERALLY INDICATES WORLD CONDITIONS WILL DETERIORATE TO GHASTLY PROPORTIONS. THERE WILL BE HEAVEN ON EARTH FOR A THOUSAND YEARS BEGINNING AT THE END OF TRIBULATIONS WHICH WILL LAST FOR SEVEN YEARS. THOSE SEVEN YEARS WILL SOON BEGIN. THE REAL QUESTION IS WILL RAPTURE TAKE PLACE BEFORE , DURING OR AT THE END OF THE TRIBULATIONS. IS JESUS YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR?

Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy; Free them from the hand of the wicked.

Psalm 82:3-4

GOD BLESS

You are absolutely correct. I'm afraid this path of destruction we are on will only snowball as time goes on. It is quite apparent to anyone that God has given eyes to see and ears to hear, that the end is near.
The good news is there are people out there with the same views as you and aren't afraid to stand up for what is right, moral, and truthful.

What was morally wrong is still morally wrong. Thanks to liberalism, we are being made to feel bad for calling something that is morally repugnant "bad." You'll notice those who preach acceptance and tolerance are the most intolerant, especially if you disagree with them. Take abortion supporters for instance. They call themselves "pro choice." However, the only "choice" they accept is killing the baby. They fail to recognize adoption or having the child and raising it to be valid choices. Morals have not changed. Humans have gotten more selfish and oblivious to anything other than what feels good.

I think we have to blame the media. It gives us the impression that people are worse than they actually are. From what I've seen here there are still lots of people trying to make a stand for good morals. Still, if you want to influence others, you have to be tactful. You have to talk about behaviors and their consequences, and not condemn people as individuals. None of us are perfect.

“Always think carefully before pronouncing judgment. Remember that you do not judge to please people but to please the LORD. He will be with you when you render the verdict in each case that comes before you. Fear the LORD and judge with care, for the LORD our God does not tolerate perverted justice, partiality, or the taking of bribes.”
Telling the truth, stating facts, or telling someone is not judging. Saying things like, He's poor because he's lazy or black or Hispanic. That is judging. But standing up for what's right isn't.
I don't think the world is going to get any better. Man is getting more and more selfish. I believe that we are in the end times.

It will get worse! We are living in the times of the end. It will soon get to the point that it will look like no one will survive because of the corruptness and immoral badness in the world. Only the most high God has to step before we destroy ourselves. We must come to the true God and change our lives before can be saved from Satan the Devil.
