The word may not be used, but it referred to all throughout the Bible. Here is one verse that pretty much nails it:
1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
Matthew 28:19 was written by Matthew, an apostle of Christ. If you have any reputable evidence that proves something different, reveal it.
We do not worship a created being, Christ is God and is therefore eternal. He had no beginning nor end. We worship God alone.
Which "saint" rose from the dead under their own power?

The trinity isn't mentioned in the bible but it codifies a biblical principle. Jesus never directly said "trinity" but no Christian claims he did. It was a later term to designate a principle. It's been more recently re-defined as Tri-unity. Jesus said that Him and His Father are One. He claimed to be God while also claiming to be the Son of God. Hence, the term was born.
Not even liberal scholars believe that Matthew was written around 130 AD. (100 years after His death)
Your question implies that people worship the virgin birth. I cannot explain why someone would choose to worship a supernatural event, rather then the orchestrator of the event.
People believe in miracles because there is a good basis for trusting the source.

The "Trinity" is not named as such in the Bible. Of course the word "Bible" does not appear in it either. And many other English words are not mentioned in the Hebrew or Greek Scriptures.
Most scholars ascribe St. Matthew's Gospel to a much earlier date than have you and those who want to discredit the Scriptures.
Why do people believe Jesus was God?
Well, "many other signs truly did Jesus is the presence of His disciples, the which are not written in (St. John's Gospel] but these were written that you might believe ...."
Jesus claimed to be God; the people who heard Him understood what He claimed. They didn't believe Him, but they understood Him.
He claimed that He is the "I AM", the Eternal God.
He proved that no one took His life from Him; He laid it down and He took it again the third day.

Jesus is God. Read the gospel of John. Jesus said "Before Abraham was I am." In other words Jesus has always been and always will be. Jesus not only performed miracles but also forgave sins on earth. That is what upset the Pharisees. The trinitarian picture is displayed in the gospels when Jesus was baptized by John. For when Jesus (the son) came out of the water the Holy Spirit descended on him like a dove and a voice from Heaven said "This is my son in whom I am well pleased."

That's why it's called "The Gospel of Matthew". Who knows who actually inscribed the scrolls with the story..
I don't worship Adam because he sinned, just like me. He's no better that I am.
The only miracle Jesus ever did that impressed me was when He changed my heart, and made peace between me and Almighty god.
Why are you so uncomfortable that there are people who have faith in Jesus Christ? Why does it bother you so badly?

It is because people are too desperate during that time to unite the the pagans alongside with the followers of Paul in Rome. A turmoil is going on in Rome and riots were happening between the followers of Paul and The pagans. That's why the emperror decided to accept the teachings of prophet Jesus but however instead of accepting him as prophet, they change him into a deity beyond reality so that the pagans can replace their Sun of God with Jesus. So that means they can still follow the good moral values that the holy prophet and Messiah jesus taught to the people of Israel and at the same time maintaining their hellenised graceo-Roman tradition. It's all about politics for the sake of National security....
However, as a muslim, we still must respect them as the "people of the book" because there are many essence of the teaching of "prophet of jesus and the earlier prophets" inside the bible..
We can't say that the bible is totally corrupted because the're still some good essence of Tawheed inside it...
Don't mock at the christians okay.... Allah S.W.T doesn't like it !
Because mocking is actually the way of satan, not of Islam...
Allah S.W.T commanded us to respect them as fellow human beings also....
Our mission is just to convey the message of Tawheed to them, not to force them to convert to Islam nor mock at them....
By the way, before abraham was, jesus was and before jesus was, Muhammad Al-mustapha was......

U bring up a very good point. They believe that he was the saint- the Messiah or whatever. If there is such a religion, they're exaggerating on what Jesus did.

My favorite is St. Eligius. He once captured a demon and contained him in his forge (he was a gold smith) and used that heat source for years. Wow, a demon powered forge. I guess something good can come from evil huh?
