They are having a problem getting parts. My insurance company has suggested that I contact a state's attorney because Nissan has a car on the road that they can not get parts for; speicfically the alternator. Nissan has no estemation date of when they can get one and my car has been in the shop for over a month. Nissan has refused to help with the rental (my insurance contributed to the rental for the first 30 days), and my insurance company is suggesting I talk to the Secratary of State's office. Does any one know my rights?

Since you car is an 07 it may not have many parts made because they dont think about someone wrecking a brand new car, sadly. I personally dont know why nissan doesnt have any parts because usually they have parts out before the car if released for the new year. Nissan is definiatly not a manufacturer i would think would not have parts. I think you should bring it to court because you will need some sort of car for a while, until your car is fixed. Well good luck with whatever you do!!!

Replacement parts for new year models, sometimes, are hard to come by for a while. Unlike your ability to mess up a new car.

yes, contact your state attorney. you'd be surprised how willing they are when they get a letter from him.
