A Bloody Mary is great for a mid morning brunch and you can make them spicy to your taste. A white russian is a good after dinner drink or for a social gathering. Either way, you cant drink too many of them, because both are pretty filling.

I like white russians the best, but I do know if you mix a white russian with a bloody mary.....you will definitely be worshipping the porcelin god later! (personal experience! lol)

You've got great taste--you've named my two favorite mixed drinks. The difference to me is that the Bloody Mary is much heartier, and I think it needs to be sipped pretty slowly, or a half hour to be appreciated; whereas I find the White Russian a small gem, one not especially good to linger over but rather to order after appetizers or a secondary food course and enjoy, so you can get on with conversation.
