ok . . . my gf broke up with me back in march and said she wanted to date around and see whats out there and all that good stuff after a 2 year relationship. . she starts dating this kid i went to high school with 2 weeks later . . . i hate the kid so its obviously a bad situation for me . . . so i try to get her back for about 2 months and in the middle of june i went NC . . on our 2 year anniversery at the beginning of july she send me a text that says . . "today was two year" just to remind me of it i guess . . . and ever since that text she has been calling/texting/leaving voicemail/or emailing me once atleast ever 2-3 weeks . . . a few times in was 2-3 times in a week . . . i have not responded to her or anything . . . so its been 5 months and its still going on .. .she is still with this same guy so she obviously knows we cant be friends be cause of the situation.. . . . . .so why does she keep trying to contact me?. .

Don't respond and go find someone you really can relate to.
Girls that truly like a guy so much won't try to screw it up - they'll be on their best behavior. She isn't ... so that should tell you something.

She decided that she wanted to date around and "see what else is out there". She started seeing this guy from your high school,
in March, and you didn't leave for NC, until June. That means you were still there in March, when she started dating "The Kid".
So if you were still there why was she lonely ?. I think that she has seen what's out there and changed her mind. And what she is thinking now is," I better try and get my man back, before someone else gets to him first".

Oh my goodness, honey, obviously she is still crazy about you. Make a decision, and if you are NOT interested in her any longer, answer her text and just say, "it's nice to hear from you, but I've moved on".
If you do like her still, then text back and ask her WHY she keeps trying to contact you! Put the ball in her court.

She is not the last woman in the world and although you may believe that youth and happiness is forever, it isn't. In my opinion, you are wasting you life chasing what used to be. I would email her and say clearly that I wasn't interested in any way, unless you are, and leave it at that.
Find some new friends. Notice I didn't say friend, friends.

What she's thinking..."Okay, now that he's done pouting, we can be friends. Surely he knows that I only want to be friends or I'd break up with my new boyfriend and THEN contact him. It's not like I don't know how to end a relationship. But I like the guy I'm with now and feel secure enough with him to be friends with my old boyfriend. I just hope my old boyfriend can get over his insecurity enough to be friends with me.

My guess is that she misses you, she probably hasn't left this other guy yet because she isn't sure if she can get you back or not, if you want to be with her then just answer her back, she what she has to say, and if you both want to get back together then go for it...

Well psycho comes to mind at first glance, but the truth of it may be that she really regrets what she did, and he doesn't make her happy as you did...and she might be comfortable in her "new" life! Too comfy to walk out on him. Or it could be she wants her cake and eat it to!!
