what should i do she told me my girlfriend told me if i dont quit playiing my guitar shell break up with me and i hate piano should i just stop playin guitar or dump her

Any girl who would force you to give up something you love (in order to do something you hate!) just for her isn't worth keeping as a girlfriend. Dump her and find a girlfriend who's more supportive of you!

Tell her to get over it and grow up. Everyone is entitled to like different things, just b/c she plays piano does not mean you have to. Maybe she is jealous of your guitar playing as it is good ..... here is a suggestion tell her that you are willing to play piano if she plays guitar that way you get to keep playing guitar and you don't have to "dump her". Find some piano tunes that play well on the guitar. Some classical songs etc. Perhaps she thinks that guitar is all about loud music and thrashing. Prove otherwise.
Don't give up guitar. If you do give it up, you will always have that regret.

you seriously need to dump her. i mean, if there's any girlfriend that you have that's going to make you give up something that you love and make you do something that you hate, then she doesn't really care about you. what she's really like is that she's just being really selfish. all she's thinking about is what she wants and not caring about you.
But if you really like this girl and don't want to break up with her, just talk to her about it. Maybe she was just testing you to see how much you care about her (yes, girls do that...i hate it, but they've done it sooo many times to me). Just tell her how you really feel about playing guitar and piano and stuff. and if she really likes and cares about you, she'll just forget about it and let u keep on playing guitar. if she doesn't, then she's just being a selfish little bi**h

I'll add to the chorus and say dump her. If its something you enjoy doing, and she really likes you, why would she want you to quit doing something you like? Of course, you could still take up the piano for a good rendition of "So long, fair well" from "The Sound Of Music" for good measure to get the point across. :-)

dump her. why would she even put you in that situation, kinda tells you how much you are worth to her because she is willing to dump you for something so simple. tell her you love her but she has to understand that playing guitar is what makes you the person you are. i play the guitar and i would feel dead without it.

Why would you stop doing something you love to be with someone who obviously doesn't love you? If she did, she wouldn't ask you to give up something so important to you! Keep the guitar, lose the girlfriend. Good luck and Merry Christmas!

Play the guitar!
She has no right to tell you what healthy hobbies/interests to have. If she doesn't like it, I would let her go find someone else to ridiculously boss around.
You will find another girl that will like you for who you are, not for what she wants you to be.

well if you really like to play guitar then she isnt that great of a girlfriend if she doesnt support you. if you dont wanna dump her then talk to her about it and if that doesnt work then i would break up with her. but its your choice.
