I got a speeding ticket. I paid the amount checked off by the officer. The county said I didn't pay enough but the police marked my ticket wrong. I am told I have like 4 days to send it. Can I fight it because the Officer made a mistake?

What probably happened to you was that the County where you got the summons has changed their ordinances to reflect higher fine schedules. Towns do this all the time, too. Because the changing of any law or ordinance is done publicly and by a specific procedure that includes input from the public, it will be difficult at best to have the fines lowered. You can appear in court, explain it to the Judge, but in all actuality, it is incumbent on you to call the court to find the true cost of the fine.

Good Luck.

Throw out a value cost ticket in actuality by actuality the safeguard is incorrect? Nah.. there have been situations whilst a value cost ticket has been thrown out by actuality the incorrect offense replaced into marked or some component of that nature, yet not an safeguard. think of of roughly this: I in actuality on the instant moved perfect right into a clean residing house, yet my using stress's license whether has the previous safeguard. for this reason, technically if i'm getting pulled over, the officer would write down the safeguard on my license and it would be incorrect. not sufficient reason to throw it out. sturdy success to ya!!!

Clerical errors on tix don't really mean much to the court anymore. If you're looking to get off, it probably won't work. Go to court though. You might be able to convince the Prosecutor to reduce the fine or amend the charges to something that will hurt less.

Unless it's an unbelievable increase - I would just send it in. Officer mistakes don't count for anything anymore.
By the way, this is common sense - not to be construed as legal advice.

That depends on how much the difference is. You can go in and ask the judge if you are required to pay the increased amount, but to fight it you would need an attorney.

You already pled guilty, can't fight the ticket now. But you can fight the fine if they cashed the check or have a reciept of paying it.

Yeah, go show up in traffic court, you have more of a chance of getting it okayed. Of course you should fight the ticket in the first place, sometimes the cop doesn't show up.

Usually when you pay you plea, sign something and pay. Get that copy. If you already plead and paid the agreed amount at the time, it seems to me that you should not have to pay more.

you can try, but it will be the same court that says you owe the money that will be hearing the case.
