You would need to repent if the idea of sin was real, but it isn't.

Repentance is asking for God's forgiveness of sin. Yes it is done while praying. Yes, I do it every time I sin. Suggestion: do the same.

Repent means to turn from sin or to quit sinning.
Repentance is not asking for God's forgiveness, although we should ask for God's forgiveness. You can not be cleansed and forgiven if you do not have a repentant heart.

To repent means to "change your mind." In the New Testament, repentance means to change your mind about your sin and your need for Christ as your Savior. We were called by God to turn away from sin. In fact, all men everywhere are commanded by God to repent of their sins (Acts 17:30). God's longsuffering leads us to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) as does His kindness (Romans 2:4). There is true and false repentance, "For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death" (2 Corinthians 7:10). Repentance, properly defined, is necessary for salvation. Biblical repentance is changing your mind about your sin and turning to God in faith for salvation (Acts 3:19).

jcm is spot on in his letter to you. The only problem I had was read your KJB everyday. Find a translation that you can understand. I love KJ for the Psalms and Proverbs as well as classic quotes, but I go to the NKJB or NIV for daily reading.
Now to the heart of your questions. Repenting is asking for God's forgiveness and it is praying. Repentance is realizing that you are flawed and need help. That help comes from Jesus who paid your sin debt.
J. Vernon McGee once said your Christain walk is like a baby learning to walk. You will go backwards, you will crawl, you will fall and you will hurt yourself. But, as you struggle, and you will struggle, you will get further and further and fall less and less.
Finally, yes you will confess your sins to the Father every time you sin. Christ does not have to die again for your sins, but you do need confess to have them forgiven.
Romans 6
Dead to Sin, Alive in Christ
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Galatians 6:1
[ Doing Good to All ] Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
As you can see by the two verses I found we have an obligation not to continue to sin, but if we or a fellow Christian does sin we are to restore them gently.

Repentance requires that you are truly sorry for what you have done and stop doing it. Prayer is talking to God. Repentance should be followed by asking God to forgive you. Prayer may be simply thanking Him or praising Him but might even include asking to be forgiven for things you know you have done wrong and even things you did wrong but were unaware of.

To repent means to turn and go in the other direction.
Forgiveness is automatic if there is repentance, how could He not forgive you if you are trying your hardest to stop doing it?

I pray to my Heavenly Father, begging for forgiveness for my sins and shortcomings, then I go and apologize to the person to whom I sinned, or if I sinned to myself, never do it again. Also, if it is a serious sin, talk to your bishop, pastor, or minister about it. Also, reading the scriptures helps you choos the right every day. Praying daily also helps you make better choices.
