If you say that he's your best guy friend and that's the way he sees you as one of the guys and as a friend, if you want to get him to notice you and fall in love with you then change your appearance, what i mean by that change the way you dress.

If you have some nice dresses at home if you are in high school then a couple of days a week put on a dress and fix your hair and do other things that a girl would do to make a guy notice her.

If he's used to seeing you in jeans and a t-shirt or a hoodie he probably won't recognize you in a dress with your hair up or however you fix it.

But if that doesn't do the trick then my advice is to find someone else like they say "there's more fish in the sea"

first, you have to get that sometimes things cant just be the same after you tell him. im basing this off the fect that you did tell him since you already seem to know that he doesnt love you.

second, love doesnt just go away right away. he should get that and so should you. if you are constantly together its going to take forever. but if you give each other space.

I spent all my time with my first love nad he asked me out 5 times before i said yes my sophmore year and by that time i could tell he didnt love me like he use to but instead he loved his ex and that broke me into a million peices. i loved him for 3 years and kept turning him down because i knew i wasnt ready to give him what he wanted in a relationship i just didnt reach that maturity level yet. when i finally did it was too late. it happens dont expect it to be perfect. we all have our heartbreaks!!!

I would talk to him, explain how you feel about him, make sure that he doesn't want you as anything more than a friend, but other than that there really isn't much you can do, theres no way to really control who a person likes and doesn't like in that way... i would just try to find someone else to have that kind of relationship with...

You have 2 choices.

Break off the friendship.

Accept that he doesn't feel the same way and go about the business of falling out of love.

Get over it. I'm having the exact promblem right now, except the guy hates me because I did something. It is going to be hard, believe me, but you're gonna have to get over it.

When you really love someone, you have to respect their feelings, even if you wish that their feelings were different. If you know that this guy doesn't love you, there's really nothing that you can do, hon...I'm sorry.

Move on. Don't ruin your friendship over this. You will find someone one day who loves you back.
