2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
This is one of the reasons non-believers can't understand the Bible, Satan, the god of this world has blinded their minds.

So is money satan? Because I believe money is the god of this world. We ALL use it and we all d3epend on it to survive. I used to be a christian same as you, then one day i realized the religion called christians dumbs god down so much I couldn't stand it. You ask this question in such a way as to imply that we non christians are dumb and with a tone that says you are better than I. Does your faith promote that too? That was my experience with that religion christians shun and down cast the non-believers. Which is NOT agape (unconditional love), and not what the bible teaches. Maybe you should reformat your question becuase it just sounds judgmental something that really turns us non believers off about your faith.

I am no longer a Christian, yet I really love the bible. I love the man that jesus was, historically, and think the world would do good to be more like him. My views on god differ from the bible, however. I accept every religion and see much positivity in every one of them. I could go to any church and be totally confrtable and feel close to the divine. Is this being blind? I think not. I just have a different opinion. An opinion which promotes peace and love and unity.

look around, see all the fallen sparks, they collectively represent the body of God, so to speak. If these sparks were gathered together, they would merge into the light of the Divine. thus, all of creation is the metaphorical body of God, and every person in the creation embodies the potential to return divine sparks to their point of origin,

Interesting enough, the concept of a God of this world is gnostic. Regardless of the fact, the God of this world not only controls the non-beiever but the very people of the simple faith as well. But then again, you can always think what you want!

it began back with Adam & Eve. The serpent tempted Eve with the fruit from the tree of awareness. The serpent replaced into the devil. awareness is his gadget. whilst they ate from the tree they gained awareness & that awareness separated them from God & they grew to grow to be sinful. The devil makes use of awareness to blind the souls of guy so as that we remember on our awareness particularly than our faith, for this reason no longer wanting God. added : I could desire to upload that however some people think of they are able to place self assurance in awareness & that they do no longer want God, they're regrettably wrong. awareness could serve you in this life, yet only as far as God will enable it & it wont be of any use to you once you stand before the throne of judgment & Jesus denies you before His Father when you consider which you never knew Him. all of us want the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior !!!

God gives every person the chance to hear the gospel before they die. Its each individuals choice if he chooses Heaven or Hell. The Devil will do everything he can to get you to believe anything as long as it isn't God. Magic, False religions, False preachers, Ghosts, and even UFOs.
