So i know christmas is on monday but my dumb parents who think they know everything and who are overprotective of me say i probably won't be able to hang out with my gf and my friends this weekend who i hardly ever get to see, they suck what do i do to convince them let me go already!

Why don't they want you to spend time with your g/f or friends? Is there some valid reason (like there's some family event going on that you should be attending?)? I'd also suggest changing the attitude - I know that when my teenagers start with the attitude they get a whole lot less cooperation from me. They've now learned that the way to get a little is to give a little - we compromise often and it works well for us.

My husband is in the navy. Our daughter is 20 months old. Do you know what I would give for us to spend this holiday together. You are probably young and dont understand the meaning of family. I think that you are being really selfish.

The truth is, they are your parents and until you are on your own and support yourself, you have to go by their rules, like it or not. I think your attitude about it says alot. Have you asked if maybe your girlfriend can come over?
