This is the SECOND time I got a screwed-up iPod Nano. I want to take it back and exchange it for one of those colored Nanos but now I'm having second thoughts and I'd like to exchange my defective Nano for a 30 GB Creative Zen which costs the same amount.

I still have the 2 year warranty on the iPod. Is it possible to exchange it for a different MP3 player?

Here's the deal... I worked at Best Buy a number of years ago. If I understand what you are saying, this will work.... I've done it a number of times myself. Do you have the PRP {Product Replacement Plan}? If so, call the 800 number on the form and explain the issue you are having. They will send you a box to mail it back. When they receive the "defective" unit, they will send you a check voucher (works like a gift card). You can buy whatever you want with it. If you have a service plan, my understanding is you have a 3 strikes you're out deal... it would have to fail once more to get your money back. Hope you have a PRP.... let me know if it works!

That depends what program do you use, if any. If you prefer iTunes you should buy the iPod, which is the only one MP3 player supported by iTunes. if you have your music in any other program ( Windows Media Player, Yahoo Music, etc.) then go for the Creative Zen. If you are planning to purchase music, personally i think iTunes is better, talking about quality. The bad of the iPod is that the only program it's supported by is iTunes, but really that's not a problem.

If you have the best buy product replacement plan, if you have a broken device...they giv eyou a gift card and let you choose your own device. But other than that, I'm not sure if they will...I'm thinking no. Try the website, or calling a representative.
