Hi there, I am Christian... and I strongly believe in my religion.

I have made a lot of mistakes throughout my life and I have committed quite a few sins and also disobeyed atleast one or more of the 10 commandments.

The good thing about Christianity tho is that we believe that God is forgiving.

God gave us free will and in doing so we have to make choices in our lives everyday. Its a hard world to live on, sometimes the choices I have made, even tho at the time I knew were wrong or aganist my religion, were things I had to do. We all gotta survive.

I don't let it get to me, I just do what I gotta do.

Even tho you make mistakes, it doesn't mean your a bad person and you are going to hell.

I think Im a great person, Im living my life to the fullest, I am here for a reason and when I die, I know that I will go to heaven.

Guilt will be present until one starts to disarm the notion or love of sin, and then you can forgive yourself, knowing that you are on the right path. No, it will not lesson the chances for finding heaven (because it is not up to chance), heaven will just take longer until there is no more temptation to sin present.

Sinning doesn't automatically make you go to Hell... you go to Heaven when you've accepted God into your life, and follow Him. Ask for forgiveness for your sins in prayers. The AMAZING thing about all of it is the fact that as Christians, we don't have to be afraid. Our Jesus died for that very reason... for the reason that we're only human and we sin. We have a God that's very mighty, powerful, and strict but one that is also very compassionate. Don't be afraid.... ask for forgiveness and your sins are COMPLETELY taken care of. They're lost in a sea and gone for good. And know that whatever it may be, you are ALWAYS forgiven.

I sin all the time - each day.
But what I have accepted is that God loves and forgives me and that keeps my heart lifted. Do I hate my sin? Yes. But I know God loved me enough to die for me and does not want me to live in guilt.
There is a difference between happiness and joy - happiness is based on circumstances, but joy never leaves because you know God loves you and gave his life for you and you will be in heaven with him. No matter what happens in life you have that incredible truth along with the forgiveness of sin in God's sight.
I am sorry for my sins but in that light I feel forgiveness and not guilt.

Sure we feel guilty. The Holy Spirit convicts. There is nothing more miserable than a sinning Christian. The Spirit convicts, He calls us to confess (we agree with God), we repent (we turn from that sin and turn towards God), and we accept God's forgiveness by standing on His promises and having faith in what He has said in His Word.

If one is truly saved - born from above - you cannot lose your salvation. Going to heaven doesn't have to be a guessing game. It is not based on my performance. It is based on Christ's performance and what I did with Him. It is not a work-to-get-to-heaven scenerio. You are either saved or your not.

there are fairly some issues i in my view do to conquer in my existence. in the beginning, I pray the answer no longer concentration on the priority. as an occasion, whilst analyzing the Psalms I often pray those words over my existence. as properly, I pray different scriptures like "i can do all issues by using Christ who strengthens me" or "Jehovah Nissi=God my victory." The greater I study the Bible, hear to Christian music, watch Christian television, attend a church that believes interior the flexibility of the Holy Spirit, etc. the greater suitable I stay spiritually and the greater suited i'm waiting to stand up to temptation. I additionally plead the blood Jesus shed for my sins over my senses often times to guard me from the whispers of the demonic realm. ultimately, I even have been crammed with the Holy Spirit and prayfully communicate in different tongues over my existence which empowers me to combat the stable combat of religion.

I feel badly, I feel "out of touch" with God, but:
it doesn't lessen my chances of going to Heaven. That is already decided for me.
How do I deal with it? I come clean to God about it, talk it over with Him, allow Him to show me why I went astray, and I know that my loving Father has forgiven me.

A christian isn't free from sinning. When we sin the Holy Spirit pricks our hearts to bring it to our attention. Then its up to us to repent. Once we ask God to forgive us we have the assurance of His Word that we are forgiven. Then there shouldn't have to feel anymore guilt.
When Satan reminds you of your past just remind him of his future.

We can repent and God will forgive us. After all that is what Jesus died for......We are also told not to worry once forgiven. So the guilt is gone.
