I have e-mailed Sears and told them if they did this I would never step foot in their store again...They need to understand that AZTLAN belongs in Mexico and if they are traitors to the country that supports them (US) they can pull out and leave.

May be they'll go bankrupt like Montgomery Ward did...or may be they'll get busted like Swift....one can only hope.

I was upset at your question, until I took more time to read the replies. I got to "Asshat McPoop's" answer:

"AZTLAN is the (misguided!!) belief that the Southwest Territory in America "rightfully" belongs to Mexico; including Colorado, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, New Mexico, Oregon and parts of Washington. Mexico is supposed to regain these territories as they rightly belong to the "mythical" homeland of Aztlan.. "

If you continue on reading about AZTLAN, please continue on to reading about MEChA also.

Everyone has a right to express themselves, even if it's printed on their clothing....but that's an AMERICAN right, so it's contradictory. If you wore something completely opposite in Mexico, you probably wouldn't live, and their police would not come to assist you. You don't have the rights there that America does.

Maybe I didn't get my point across. Just read up before you get mad at the person asking the question. I did, and I'm sorry I got upset before KNOWING all there is to know behind this question. You probably should have added more to it, but I'm glad I learned more tonight by reading up on it, so thanks to you and Asshat McPoop for opening my eyes.

PS: The more you talk about it, the more people like me will learn about what's going on and we should know things like this and get our heads out of the sand. I know a LOT of people will stop shopping there over this once they are made aware of what it involves. That's not being a dope.

I e-mailed Sears also & let them know that I feel the same way. Why in the world do these people refuse to get the point in regards to illegal immigration??? It makes me sick that they know perfectly well what you are talking about & they try to go around the issue by stating that people wear t-shirts from other countries all the time. When was the last time you saw someone wearing a t-shirt from London. That's not something you see every day. It is clear that Sears is trying to make a profit from the millions of Mexicans that are here (legally & illegally). As for the person that made the statement in regards to African Americans... I consider myself a "Black" or "Afro" American. My ancestors have not been to Africa for hundreds of years. Africans don't even like Black Americans... they say we are not from the "Motherland" (Thank Goodness)! I guarantee you will not see too many Black Americans wearing African attire.

Have some fun educating yourselves on AZTLAN and MECHA, since they will be pop-culturistic buzz-words that you are expected to shut up and accept.

You may have to scroll down a little to read about AZTLAN.

Voz de Aztlan: Hispanofacist groups laud suicide bombers- sees immigration protests as beginning of demographic takeover of U.S.
April 30, 2006

MIM: Voz de Aztlan is the website of a Hispanofacist groups MEChA and La Raza, who openly proclaim their goal is to 'Hispanicise' the United States and create a Nation of Aztlan in it's place. These Hispano facists are using the current immigration protests as the vanguard of a Hispanic takeover of the United States (by the 'brown and bronze races'), starting with California and the Southwest, which they intend to 'reclaim' as their falsified 'spiritual and territorial legacy,in the same way Nazi Germany intended to forge the 'Third Reich' by conquering all of Europe as a prelude to world domination. The slogan of the movement epitomises their Hispano supremacist agenda;

"For the race everything. For those outside the race, nothing".

"We have an aging white America ... They are dying ...We have got to eliminate the gringo, and what I mean by that is if the worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him." Jose Angel Gutierrez, professor, University of Texas, Arlington and founder of the La Raza Unida political party

This is why people object to Aztlan T-shirts in America

There are a few people here who don't get it. That it's not a place that exists but is a fantasy land that they plan to carve out and take from the US. I will never set foot in Sears again just because they considered it and I will tell everyone I know about this.

are u also going to boycott stores that sell shirts that have London, or Paris etc written on them? How about shirts with foreign band logos? Look thru your house and make sure everything you own is American made. The car, the parts in your pc.

Or better yet if you want a cause that really matters why don't you use all that energy to find homes for orphans no one wants?

Did you know that I don't really care what Sears does?? I don't shop there, and I don't care to. Let them sell what they like - but when they don't sell, they'll take them off the shelf.

But you do understand, the more you talk about it, the more press they get, and the more interest they will receive. So you are doing more for them than those Ad Execs on Madison Ave., dope.

I had to google AZTLAN to know what it is. Still don't get the problem. It is a place in Mexico, is it not? How is it different than wearing a shirt with Aruba on it? I must still be ignorant about this issue.

I had not realized that they were that far out in left field. I did know that they had a merger with Kmart, and that chain of stores lost its customer base years ago with the rude, bigoted rosie-O, and her views that certain inanimate objects are bad. I guess I will buy all SNAPON tools from now on.
