ok earlier today i was really hungry and i decided to go to mcdonalds when i arrived at the nearest town...well for the whole 3 miles to the town i debated wether to go to mcdonalds or not...i was so hungry that for the first time in 6 months i gave in and eate as a fast food place...is it bad to debate so much over some thing so small as earing at a fast food place?

Obviously you should not make it a habit to eat at fast food places. When you get into that sort of debate with yourself, you might consider moving the debate outwards and debate all the various choices that you would have. For example, might it be better to choose a wrap sandwich at Subway than what you got at McDonalds?

You can cheat occasionally on a diet without any problem. But you can also decide to minimize the impact of that cheat by selecting something that is actually a fairly good choice.
