Maybe he was.

One thing is sure, he was not a white dude with light brown hair and blue eyes like he is so often depicted.

Love and blessings Don

Genetically, he was a red man, since he was a perfect human being, almost a clone of Adam who brought sin into the world. It took the sacrifice of another perfect human being to take sin out of the world. The name Adam means red man.

The branching of the genetic lines did not take place until the time of Noah. The genetic line is traced not down the line that migrated to Africa, or the line that migrated to Europe. It followed the line that migrated to the middle east and resulted in the Jews and Arabs, but since Mary was impregnated by the Holy Spirit, her genetic material would have been overwhelmed by the much stronger and dominant material provided by God. Kind of like when a black man has a child with a while woman. His genetic material is stronger and more dominant, so the African tendencies come out. That can even emerge in downstream generations, as happened with Doris Day, who didn't know her great-grandfather was black until she had her first child.

The fact is that genetically, Jesus could not had African tendencies any more than European tendencies, but he also would not have had Jewish tendencies. What he would have had was a little of all of them and yet none of them as he carried within him the base source for all of us.

The day will come where we are back at that point, as perfect human beings, where there will no longer be the different branches of humans.

Because he was Jewish. Semitic. He probably had darker skin than most of us who are of European descent, but he wasn't of the black race. However for Him, it wouldn't really make any difference. He considered that all men and women were created in the image of God. So basically we are all the same race, just with varieties of appearance to make things interesting.

Erm. I think I understand what you're trying to say.

Well, Jesus is documented as a white man. As there weren't many black men in where he was born. And because at least his mother was white.

Er...you're trying to ask why god isn't a black man, right?

Because he was a Jew, and Jews aren't black (except for Sammy Davis, Jr). What difference does it make?
