Im extremly in love with this guy, but at times, i feel like i love him and hate him. I feel like doesnt care on what i think, say, or feel. He sometimes makes me feel stupid and he belittles me by calling me names. I try to be really good to him, and he doesnt try to be as good. I can never talk to him and say what i feel because he usually takes it the wrong way. He likes to limit me and i cant do the same to him. But gosh, i love him so much... I broke up with him, and think i made a good choice?

What you described is an abusive, manipulative person. He doesn't even know who you really are if you do not feel free to talk to him about your feelings. You know in your heart he does not love you the way you do him and you would only continue to be his doormat, that's why you broke it off. He is the type of man that loves to make you feel jealous and insecure, and then bitches at you because you are jealous and insecure. Most women, however, get stuck marrying this same guy, have babies, and wind up miserable. Every time you sit around and think about how much you love him, fast-forward your mind to the future and picture being married to him with kids after all the new has worn off....you think he's an asshole now, I promise you it would be far worse then. I am SOOOO proud of you for being strong enough to know you deserve better. You have saved yourself a world of heartache.

To me thats a good choice, i would never have hurt my gf that way, a guy should be godo to the girl especcially when you tried to make everything better his reply was so bad, if you think he doesnt care and if he hasnt called then its over, some guys can only hope they can find girls like you its a shame others who have everything dont apreciate it.

The way I see it is love only works when you get the respect back. With love comes happiness. Someday you'll meet someone you cannot live without that puts a constant smile on your face. That's when you'll find love. Good luck.

good choice, in most relationships if there is no negative part in the way the two partners get along love is enuf and if there is a problem then i hate to say it-- no matter how much of a hopeless romantic i am-- they wont make it

you made the right choice, its sounds like he is hurting you quite a bit but you dont care because you love him. i know what this feels like.but if you stay with him and end up marring him then he could become very controlling. not what you want.

If a men dose not love you and dose not treat you right you shod not be with him b/c lots of girls I gone out with I loved but they did not love me they were just gold diggers . One girl wanted to have sex if I took her out to eat and showed her a good time but I refused so its hared to find some one that loves you so go find love some were ells

definitely! the way he's treating you shows that he doesn't respect you... love entails love, trust, and respect... your break up may hurt a little while, but eventually you'll feel much more better than you were with him...
