I have applied for many scholarships, but haven't gotten any. Is there a trick? There is suppose to be lots of money out there. I work 2 jobs and have a family, plus school. I don't have time to continue trying with no results.

1) Go through your school
2) Fill out a FAFSA form
3) Find a book of scholarships at your library or book store and look for scholarships for non-tradional students. Fill them out like crazy. I filled out 200 before I found two that would pay for my college.

if you work two jobs, it's higly unlikely you will get any financial aid. It seems the only people who qualify are people who don't work, or work bare minimum wage jobs. For the working class, it seems the best option is to put college off for about 5 years, and by that time it might be possible to have saved up enough money for a state university provided you go to a community college first.

You have to go to the college and see a counselor to get all the forms for everything being offered. Also find out why you have denied from the scholarships you tried for.

Fill out the FAFSA. Use a dictionary or google to check your spelling - see links below.

College isn't for everyone. There are plenty of successful business people who never went to college.

If you are already a college student, go to your advisor and ask for direction.

Best of luck to you.
