That depends on when the soldier's AIT is scheduled to start. They may be allowed some time off or they may go straight to AIT. Also, the soldier may get leave at his AIT station after getting there but before starting AIT. It will be important for the soldier to ask for leave, otherwise the personnel folks are going to do what is easy and send the troop on to the next duty station.

The Army doesn't call it boot camp. It's Basic Training (BCT). In answer to your question, NO, you usually don't get leave after BCT. You only earn 2.5 days a month and BCT is 9 weeks long. You usually don't have enough saved to use it. Also, most AIT's start immediately after you're done with BCT. The length of AIT will depend on the job (MOS) that you choose. (My hubby went strait to Germany from AIT with no leave because he was in the hole from Christmas exodus.)
I know here, usually within 48 hours, everyone is shipped off to their AIT.
It's a good time for you to get used to spending time away from home. It'll make you a stronger person for it.

No I do not think so. My brother just graduated Army boot vamp in Fort Knox and left on a bus 1 hour later to school. But it was the weekend before veterans day. But still you leave boot camp and go straight to school, where ever that is. What is your career.

YES, but it also depends on what your orders for AIT
says. You may have only 3 to 5 days to report for your
next duty assignment which does not give you enough time to see any of your relatives. You may have to wait until you complete AIT, then you may have 2 weeks leave.

Had the same experience as a few other guys here. Finished Basic (Ft. Jackson) and then bussed right off to AIT (Ft. Resort err Gordon) the next day literally.

Yes!
After boot camp, all personnel are granted a "Furlow" of 5-10 days. This allows a soldier time to say goodbyes etc.

Depends on your job and status as well as if you are going active duty or reserve. Just ask your CO.
