I always chat on IM with guys but we don't talk about sex or anything. I always explain to the guy that I'm married and they accept that. Is this counting as cheating?

No, it isn't cheating as long as it stays platonic. If it starts getting romantic or erotic, it is cheating.

Basically, if you are doing something you wouldnt want your husband to be doing, it is cheating in my book.

No it's not cheating, but it might not be for your marriage either. Would you be upset if your husband did the same thing? Would you feel the same way about it if it was in person instead of over the internet? Is your husband OK with it?

Depending on how you answered these questions, you may want to stop or change what you're doing.

I dont think it counts as cheating as long as you dont take it too far....if you tell your husband what you are doing, and you are just chatting for the fun of it, no harm! But, you also need to think about it in the terms of, how would you feel about your husband chatting on line with women!

Um that's not cheating unless you guys are talking about sex which you stated you aren't so it's not cheating. Cheating is when you purposley go out and do things with a person other than your spouse...I would even go as far as to say that cheatign could even entail live webcamming with another person. If the thought is there then it is cheating. if you think it often then more than likley you will do it eventually...

no way you could be having cyber with a web cam and it wouldnt constitute as cheating in my book. its just a bit of fun. ask your husband to join in he may be into it. you can chat online and have a laugh together.

No, thats counted as chatting with another person, just like you would face to face.

If you have to ask the question it must bother you some what so try and answer the question yourself. Just think of it this way if it was your husband doing the talking what would you think?

if youre being honest and you dont talk about sex, and you ALWAYS say youre married then you wouldnt even ask that question! that is IF youre honest and are you lying to your husband? there is something more to this than youre letting on i think

Wow.

You should be able to talk to someone of the opposite sex. You're married, not dead.
